چکیده

We consider here the row-by-row decoupling of linear timeinvariant systems by proportional and derivative state feedback. Our contribution, with respect to previous results, is that our procedure is based on simple operator (say matrices) manipulations, without any need to use a canonical form. The only assumptions for applying such a decoupling strategy are that the system is right invertible (which is a necessary condition to ensure solvability) and minimum phase. An illustrative example is proposed.

Partial Eigenvalue Assignment in Discrete-time Descriptor Systems via Derivative State Feedback

A method for solving the descriptor discrete-time linear system is focused. For easily, it is converted to a standard discrete-time linear system by the definition of a derivative state feedback. Then partial eigenvalue assignment is used for obtaining state feedback and solving the standard system. In partial eigenvalue assignment, just a part of the open loop spectrum of the standard linear s...

Disturbance Decoupling for Singular Systems by Proportional and Derivative Feedback and Proportional and Derivative Output Injection

We study the disturbance decoupling problem for linear time invariant singular systems. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a solution to the disturbance decoupling problem with or without stability via a proportional and derivative feedback and proportional and derivative output injection that also makes the resulting closed-loop system regular and/or of index at m...

Disturbance Decoupling for Descriptor Systems by State Feedback

We study the disturbance decoupling problem for linear time invariant descriptor systems. We give necessary and suucient conditions for the existence of a solution to the disturbance decoupling problem with/without stability via a proportional and/or derivative feedback that also makes the resulting closed-loop system regular and/or of index at most one. All results are proved constructively ba...

LMI Approach to Stabilization of Descriptor Systems Via Proportional Plus Derivative State Feedback

This paper is concerned with a proportional plus derivative (PD) state feedback control problem for discrete and continuous descriptor linear systems. We aim to design a (PD) state feedback controller which guarantees the stability of closed-loop system. The existence of such a controller is determined by developing a necessary and sufficient condition in terms of LMIs. Then, the desired PD sta...

On the structure at infinity of linear delay systems with application to the disturbance decoupling problem

The disturbance decoupling problem is studied for linear delay systems. The structural approach is used to design a decoupling precompensator. The realization of the given precompensator by static state feedback is studied. Using various structural and geometric tools, a detailed description of the feedback is given, in particular, derivative of the delayed disturbance can be needed in the real...
